Golden Oak is set in 32 acres of countryside in the Northern Dordogne, where picturesque historical villages nestle in the rolling hills of the unspoilt countryside. If this starts to conjure up an image of a beautiful lake in a tranquil setting, then you are definitely starting to get the picture. It's a perfect location for families and couples as well as groups of up to 4 anglers, all available to book on an exclusive basis.
The 5 acre lake forms a gentle curve, which seems to disappear into the mature woodland surrounding the far end. The lakeside accommodation is spacious and immaculate, sleeping a maximum of 7 with en-suite facilities in each of its 3 bedrooms and the added bonus of an above ground swimming pool and lazi spa (open mid May - end September), along with a covered seating area and loads of activities to keep everyone occupied!
Why not forget about the drive and the hassle and just fly in? If you are lucky enough to live near an airport then the family could be splashing about in the pool and you have 3 rods in the water just a few short hours after leaving home. You can hire a car from the nearest airport at Limoges, which is only 40 minutes drive from the venue and often this can work out cheaper than driving yourself.
